I often play violin songs for my grandmother over the phone. I could feel her smiling softly through the sound of the strings. Those moments always made me feel connected to her, even when we were far apart.
But one day, she started having an issue in her lower back, and we found out that she had developed a cyst — something like a small swelling under the skin.
Seeing my grandmother go through pain made me want to take on another challenge, something new that could help or inspire her in some way.
My goal wasn’t about success or recognition. It was about doing something out of love and curiosity — just like when I played violin for her. This new project became another kind of music — not with strings or bows, but with ideas and persistence.
