The initial idea was to create a support band having a cushion to prevent my grandmother’s cyst from rupturing. Various materials were tested to develop and evaluate structural stability.

In addition, the structure of the band was modified to explore how various sizes and different shapes of cyst areas could be supported more effectively.

The overall structure was too rigid, which caused excessive pressure on the cyst area and discomfort during testing.
