The Second Attempt - Redefining Support

The second experiment focused on addressing the structural and functional issues observed in the first prototype. In the first design, the support band applied direct pressure to the modeled cyst , which resulted in discomfort, deformation, and instability during movement.

The concept was to use a hole in the band to maintain a controlled gap between the cyst and the supporting band. Design adjustments were also made to the band geometry and the shape of the holes.

Eliminating direct compression was more effective than reinforcement alone.
